Here’s another fun way to make some spooky Halloween ghosts to hang up.
The ingredients are almost as simple as the other ghosts we’ve made. All you need is an egg carton, some tissue paper, paint and glue.
We’ve added some googly eyes for some added cuteness.

Halloween Egg Carton Crafts for Kids: Egg Carton Ghost
Hang these ghosts up all over the house. They are so cute they couldn’t scare anyone! Perfect frugal Halloween decor and so much fun to put together!
Craft Supplies:
- Egg carton
- Paint (white)
- Paint brush
- Tissue paper (white)
- Googly eyes
- String
- Scissors
- Glue
Step #1:
Cut out one shell of the egg carton. If you want to make more than one ghost, cut out one of these for each one.
Step #2:
Punch a hole in the top of the shell with your scissors. Thread through a piece of string and tie it in place.
If you want the ghost to look like it is floating, use fishing line instead!
Step #3:
Paint the entire outside of the egg carton shell with white paint. Allow to dry.
Step #4:
Add some glue all over the inside of the shell and scrunch some tissue paper inside. Be sure to press it in place so the glue holds it.
Step #5:
Trim the tissue paper to make your ghosts body.
Step #6
Add some googly eyes for a cute ghost. If you want something more spooky you can draw your eyes on with a marker.
