Kids Easter crafts can help you make your pens and pencil join into the Easter celebration with this Easter bunny pencil topper!
We’ve made these pencil critters on a number of occasions, and for a number of holidays. Here is one to give kudos to the Easter bunny.
If you need in depth instructions on how to make these we’ve photographed and given step by step instructions with our pumpkin critter and our love puff Valentine pencil topper.
Here’s an idea of some of the holidays we’ve made these critters for:
Halloween Pumpkin Critter
Valentine’s Love Puff
St Patricks Day Leprechaun Hat
The general idea is the same, we are just changing what is on top of the topper! My Spring pencil toppers are also a massive hit leading up to Easter. These are a great idea if you are wanting some variety on your pencils this Easter.
How to Make a Easter Bunny Pencil Topper
With this critter topper you get to have the Easter bunny bobble on top of your pen or pencil.
The Easter bunny is a very important bunny on this holiday – how would all our Easter eggs and treats get to us without this furry little (or big) guy.
These pencil toppers sometimes can be easier to put together with hot glue. We have used it to speed up our creation time.
If you are going to use hot glue, make sure you are supervised by an adult.
Craft Supplies:
The supplies for these kids Easter crafts are very minimal.
- Craft foam (white)
- Pipe cleaner (pink)
- Pom pom (pink or red)
- Googly eyes x2
- Glue
- Scissors
Step #1:
Cut out the shape of a bunny head with the white craft foam.
Step #2:
Add two small pieces of pink pipe cleaner to the center of each ear.
Glue these in place.
Step #3:
Glue your googly eyes and your nose to the face of your Easter bunny.
Step #4:
Now simple twirl your pipe cleaner around your pen and glue the easter bunny to the top.
These kids Easter crafts for children are great for any age, and give a festive feel to the classroom.
Always have your pencil dressed up for the season or holidays.
Never have a bare pencil top again! Even better why not make lots and gift them to friends so that they can get in on the craze.
