Our Toilet paper roll Valentine crafts will help you turn paper rolls into fun Valentine treats for your friends, classmates and teacher. These Valentine kids crafts are so easy and fun to make!
This craft is a great way to say how you feel about your friends, and family, as well as give them a tasty snack too!
You can fill these valentine treats with anything you wish, we decided to use the yummy valentine cinnamon heart candies.
Of course, we did eat our fair share as we crafted so make sure you have some extras too!
This is a great way to recycle those empty toilet paper rolls and make something festive for Valentine’s day.

Toilet Roll Valentine Crafts as Treats
Our toilet paper roll valentine treats can be filled with anything from lifesaver mints (like in our first picture) to gummy bears, or cinnamon hearts (like we decided to do).

Step #1: Using your paint and paint brush, decorate your toilet paper roll.We chose to make red and pink stripes. To do this, start with the lighter color (pink) and paint three stripes. Allow this to dry for a few minutes. Once the pink paint dries, paint on two red stripes. Allow this to dry again. |

Step #2: Fold the red construction paper in half. Cut a half heart shape with the scissors. When you unfold this you will have a fill heart. |

Step #3: Drab a line of glue on the crease of your heart shaped construction paper. Place the pipe cleaner along this time. Fold the heart in half again. Press and hold this until the glue dries slightly. |

Step #4: While your heart dries more, let’s go back to the toilet paper roll we have painted. Press in one end so there is two points and the center parts fold over each other. Press this firmly so it stays in place. |

Step #5: Fill your toilet paper roll with your chosen treat. Make sure its not completely full as we have to fold down the other end, like we did in step four. |

Step #6 As we mentioned above, now we need to fold the other end of the toilet paper roll. Press it firmly in place. Now you will have a sealed container for your treats. |

Step #7 Bend the pipe cleaner that is attached to your heart shape. We have bent it into a heart shape. You can also just twirl it or make it into a bow. Glue this to the center of your treat container. |
Write a nice message on your heart, or just sign a “To” and “From”
This is a great way to say Happy Valentine’s Day!
