DIY Saint Patrick Day Card for Kids
Who wants to say Happy St Patrick’s Day to their friends on March 17th? Perhaps you have some friends from Ireland or perhaps you just like to celebrate the occasion! Maybe you will attend a local parade or eat a variety of themed Irish foods, Irish stew or fadge anyone?
Regardless of how you spend St Patrick’s Day may the luck of the Irish be with you. Maybe you can send someone luck by making your own St Patrick’s Day card! Use these Irish card crafts to teach children all about the history of Saint Patrick and leprechauns!
You can make a wide range of Irish cards featuring leprechauns, shamrocks, pots of gold, rainbows and other Celtic symbols. Many of my homemade cards are suitable for kids as young as 4 and 5, while others will require some more work. My St Patrick’s Day Pop up cards are extremely popular.

I have a brilliant leprechaun drawing tutorial, which could provide you with a picture of the lucky green guy to stick on the front of some cardstock.
You could make a handprint leprechaun or shamrock card also. A leprechaun face shaped card would also work.
I plan on making a leprechaun hat shaped card. It will be a simple craft suitable for toddlers. Hopefully I get around to doing it this week.
