With March 17th around the corner you might be interested in making my Leprechaun St Patrick’s Day Pop Up Card. It looks fabulous and is much easier to make than you think!
Here in the UK we send cards for every occasion! I love sending St Patrick’s Day cards to my friends in Ireland! In fact my American friends just love them too.
When we think about March the 17th we think of Leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold, so I thought I should let my kids make a great pop up card to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Like all my kids leprechaun crafts this one is the perfect March craft idea.
Previously I have made a gorgeous Snowman Pop Up Card for Christmas and my kids really enjoyed seeing it come together. One of my other favorites was my Elsa Valentine Card complete with pop up heart.
This card is made in a similar way, just with different elements. Fortunately I have step by step instructions and images and templates to help you along the way.
It really is amazing what crafts you can do with paper and scissors as long as you have templates and basic craft supplies.
This St Patrick's Day Pop Up Card craft features a cute leprechaun, rainbow and a pot of gold to bring you all the luck in the world Cut out the pieces for the leprechaun using the templates. Step 2: Glue the leprechaun’s coat to its body. Then glue the back of the hair on the backside of the head. Step 4: Glue the front hair/fringes. And then glue the beard on the bottom side of the leprechaun's face. Glue the hat on the leprechaun's head. Glue both hands onto each side Finish making the leprechaun by gluing the googly eyes and shoes. Use a marker pen to draw its face. Step 8: Cut out the gold pot and coins from the template. Use a pair of scissors to cut along the two lines. Press the cut-out part inside the card. Here is an image of how the card looks like Glue the rainbow and clouds on the card. Cut out the shamrocks from the template. Glue the gold pot on the cut-out part. Then glue the shamrocks on the card as well. Allow the glue to dry. Glue the leprechaun on the front card. Then take the cloud and glue it over the leprechaun. Then bring the leprechaun’s hands over the cloud and glue them there. And your card is READY!Leprechaun St Patrick's Day Pop Up Card
