All little boys and girls love Super Heroes and now they can enjoy an easy Superman Paper craft which can be used for pretend play afterwards.
Who wants to make a Paper Superman to save the day?! We all want one of these don’t we.
My 4 year old son has just started doing some crafting to I am trying to keep him interested as it is a great way to develop fine motor skills including scissor cutting practice. I always encourage him to cut out the pieces from the templates.
He then follows the instructions with my guidance and he enjoys sticking pieces together. He really enjoying making Superman and is already asking what we can make next!
My Superman craft with paper comes with a free printable template and step by step procedure to help you complete this Superhero activity for kids.
All little boys and girls love Super Heroes and now they can enjoy an easy Superman Paper craft which can be used for pretend play afterwards Step 1: Select a colored craft paper for the skin tone of the Superman puppet and then select blue, red, black and yellow colored craft papers for the rest of the patterns. Trace the body base and arm patterns on blue colored paper; trace the belt and logo base on yellow colored paper; trace the cape, shoes and pant patterns on red colored craft paper; and trace the head and hand patterns on the paper selected for the skin and the hair pattern on black or dark brown paper. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors. I always encourage my kids to do this part to improve their hand eye coordination. Step 2: Glue the hand cutouts to the arm cutouts and the shoe pieces to the bottom ends of the body base pattern. Cut a slit along the yellow marked line inside the hair pattern; slide the top end of the head cutout under the slit to attach the hair pattern with the head cutout. Step 3: Attach the belt and the trouser pattern cutouts to the body base pattern. Step 4: Trim the both sides of the belt and the trouser patterns if necessary to make them fit. Attach the arm patterns on both sides of the body base pattern. Step 5: Attach both the arm patterns on both sides of the body base pattern and then attach the head on the top side of the body base pattern. Step 6: Attach the cape on the backside of the papercraft Superman figure and then use a black marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the Superman paper craft for completionSuperman Paper Craft for Kids

Things you can do with your Superman Paper Craft
You can stick a popsicle stick on the back of these and use them as puppets for story telling or pretend play. The addition of a popsicle stick also enables you to use this as a cool bookmark. If you want a small corner bookmark instead you might want to make my Avengers craft instead
Why not stick these onto the front of a Birthday card or even a Father’s Day card for your Superhero Dad. If you need a special card for Dad this year you can always make my Dinosaur Pop Up Card
Another great idea is to stick a magnet on the back and attach these to your fridge.
