Our easy bible crafts for kids are a great way to teach about scripture and the stories of God. Many children have a hard time concentrating on the stories behind religion.
These crafts are great to use at home or even at Sunday school as well. If the school is a Catholic school these crafts can also be brought into the classroom.

Prayer Journal

Prayer Journal Craft
Prayer is a very important communication method with God. This little notebook is a great way for the children to either write out the prayers they need to learn, or to even create their own.
Craft Supplies:
- Construction Paper (peach color, or white)
- Plain white paper, or lined paper
- Hole Punch
- String
- Marker
- Pencil
- Scrap piece of Bristol board
Step #1:
On the scrap piece of Bristol board trace one of your hand, in a praying position. Cut this out.
Step #2:
Use the Bristol board template and trace it onto two pieces of the peach construction paper, as well as 5-10 pieces of white paper (or lined).
Step #3:
Cut out each of these pieces of paper.
Step #4:
Punch two holes on one side of each paper – make sure they are all equal to each other, like in a binder.
Step #5:
Stack all the papers together and feed a piece of string through each of the holes you punched. Tie the strings into bows.
Scripture Craft
A great bible craft for kids to write out a favorite scripture passage. Then it will make a great home decoration too!
Craft Supplies:
- Two paper towel rolls
- A piece of white and beige paper
- Glue
- Pencil
- Marker
Step #1:
On the white paper, write out in pencil your chosen favorite scripture.
Step #2:
Trace over the pencil writing with a marker.
Step #3:
Wrap each paper towel roll in a piece of beige construction paper and glue it in place.
Step #4:
Cut along each paper towel roll. This is where your scripture paper will slide in.
Step #5:
Slide each side of the scripture paper into the slits you made in your paper towel rolls. On the inside of the rolls glue the paper in place.
Popsicle Stick Cross – Children’s Bible Crafts
Every room needs a cross, what better way than to make one with your own hands. Popsicle stick crafts for kids are very quick and simple to make
Craft Supplies:
- Popsicle sticks
- Brown paint
- Glue
- Piece of Lace or ribbon
- Sparkles, rhinestones, etc
Step #1:
Paint two popsicle sticks brown
Step #2:
Glue the two sticks together once they are dry. In the shape of a cross.
Step #3:
Decorate them with sparkles or rhinestones.
Step #4:
Glue the piece of lace or ribbon in a loop behind the top of the cross. This will allow for it to be hung up.
