Holy Week Crown Crafts for Kids

Little kids love dressing up crafts including costumes, masks and crowns! They provide hours of excitement right from the minute the crafting starts to playing afterwards!

Easter is all about Jesus suffering and dying on a cross for those he loved! On Easter Sunday he rose from the tomb and Christians everywhere celebrate this fact.

Religious Easter crafts are a great way to educate kids and my Easter crown craft can be used in conjunction with the Easter story. It can be made at home, in school or indeed Sunday school. Use it for a fun dress up game.

Crown Holy Week Craft for Kids

Yield: 1

Celebrate the fact Jesus is risen with this Crown Holy Week craft for kids! Comes with instructions and free printable template

Materials

Cardstock paper.
Craft papers.
Pencil.
Ruler.
Scissors.
Glue.
Marker pens.

Instructions

Step 1:

Use the PDF template to cut out the pieces to make Jesus.

Step 2:

Glue the head on top of the robe.

Step 3:

Glue the hands to the sleeves.

Step 4:

Glue the hair, beard, and moustache on the face.

Step 5:

Draw the eyes using a marker pen.

Step 6:

Cut out the crown from the template.

Step 7:

Glue Jesus on the centre part of the crown.

Step 8:

Then, glue the two crosses on the crown.

Step 9:

Apply glue to one end of the crown as shown below.

Step 10:

Then, glue both ends of the crown together to finish the craft. Next let your child wear the crown on their head 🙂

What other things might you add to your Religious Easter crown? Maybe some palm leaves. You could also add a small picture of the Bible.
