Disney Little Mermaid Crafts for Kids
All kids love Disney, and the red haired mermaid, Ariel is a firm favorite here in our house. I have lost count of the number of times we have watched ‘The Little Mermaid’ on DVD.
My 5 year old was absolutely delighted when I showed her this craft. She asked could we make it straight away so that she could stick it in her scrap book alongside her Merida and Mulan craft.

How to Make Ariel Disney Crafts with Paper
This Disney Ariel craft with paper is perfect for Mermaid fans. Before starting have your template and supplies to hand. Step 1: Select a paper for the skin tone and also select 2 different shades of green (for the tail), orange and purple colored craft papers for this craft. I always have a supply of craft papers as I do so many of these so I normally use the same color everytime for skin. Arts and crafts with colored papers are firm favorites here in my house as they are in yours I am sure. Trace the hair pattern on the orange paper, the body base on the paper selected for the skin tone; trace the fin and tale on mint and green colored paper and the top on purple paper. Cut out the traced patterns nicely. Step 2: Cut a slit along the traced line inside the hair template. Step 3: Take the body base cutout and slide the head part through the slit from the bottom side of the hair. Use glue to fix the position of the hair and head once they are placed nicely. Step 4: Attach the fin pattern on the fin part of the tale pattern. Step 5: Attach the top pattern on the top side of the body base and the tale pattern below the top, on the body base. Step 6: Use a green marker pen to trace scalloped patterns on the tale pattern. Use a black maker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth and a blue marker to fill the eyes of the paper Ariel doll.
