My children love Easter and everything that comes with it! They also love crafting so I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two and make a cool Easter scene for them. It is like a picture with moveable components so that they can use it as a show for pretend play.
When I asked my kids what they associate with Easter, the two things they said were the Easter bunny and chocolate eggs!
Since we love going outdoors on Easter egg hunts I thought it would be a great idea to make something to represent our outdoor ventures over the Easter holidays.
We made a lovely Easter picture with green grass, a bunny rabbit, an egg and of course a carrot for the bunny to eat.
This is an easy paper craft to do with kids of all ages as it comes with step by step instructions and a free printable template.

This Easter scene craft is a fabulous Spring paper craft for kids of all ages. It comes with a free printable template and moveable elements! Step 1: Select 3 different shades of green colored craft papers for the bush layers and blue colored craft paper for the background. You can pick whatever shades you like. You can even add a yellow circle for a sun in the sky. Step 2: Grab the shortest bush layer and apply glue along the sides and bottom, keep the top end free. Attach it with the medium size bush along the bottom side. Step 3: Attach the long bush pattern with the main paper cutout (the blue background paper) along the bottom side. Step 4: Attach the medium bush on the top of the long one, along the bottom. Make sure to keep the top ends of all 3 bush layers open, so that they can be used as pockets. This means you can slot in the bunny, carrot and egg inside. Step 5: Select orange paper for the carrots and colors of your choice for the bunny and egg crafts. I have went for a gray bunny but you can have a white or black one if you wish. Trace the patterns on the selected papers and cut them out using Stick the inner ear cutouts on the ear parts of the bunny. Stick the patterns to complete the carrot and egg craft as well. Use markers to draw the nose and mouth of the papercraft bunny. Trace some orange lines on the carrot papercraft and use scissors to trim the extra sides of the egg decorations. Step 8: Trace and cut out cloud shapes from white embossed paper and stick them on the blue background, near the top side. Insert the papercraft items (bunny, egg and carrot) inside the bush pockets and have fun! Pretend play for Easter!!Easter Scene Craft for Kids
