Paper Heart Origami for Kids

How to Make a Origami Heart for Kids – Origami Love Hearts Put a Smile on Someone’s Face!
Supplies:
- Origami Craft Papers.
- Glue.
- Scissors.(optional).
- Ruler.
Instructions:
Step 1:
Select a square piece of paper.
Step 2:
Flip it over.
Step 3:
Fold the paper diagonally in half.
Step 4:
Open the fold
Step 5:
Fold it again diagonally in half from the bottom part
Step 6:
Open the fold. This will create an “X” shapes crease on the paper.
Step 7:
Take the top point of the paper and bring it down to the center point.
Step 8:
Take the bottom point and bring it upwards to the end of the top fold.
Step 9:
Take the left part of the origami piece and bring it upwards along the vertical center line. Fold it there as shown below
Step 10:
Take the right part and bring it upwards along the center line.
Step 11:
Flip it over to the other side and it will look like this.
Step 12:
Fold the two top points of the hearts slightly to add some details.
Step 13:
Fold the points from the two sides to finish your origami heart.
What will you do with your Origami Love Heart
You can use whatever designs and colors you like for the hearts. Younger kids may want to decorate their own.
How about adding wings or a little bow to the front of your hearts. Remember to add your sweet message inside.
