Say Happy Halloween with this spooky Halloween pop up card featuring haunted house, bats, pumpkins and spider web!
Halloween is not just about dressing up it is also about being crafty! We love making their own Homemade Halloween cards for kids to send to their friends.
Quite often we use these as an invitations to our fancy dress party or even trick or treating around nearby houses.
Sometimes we go for handprint cards, which are a great idea for younger kids. This year we thought we would be more adventurous and make a 3D pop up card for Halloween. We have made several before but none for Halloween!
If you like the idea of making your own greeting cards you will love my list of unique pop up cards for different seasons of the year.
If you do not like the idea of a 3D Halloween cards to make we have tons of other spooky Halloween crafts for children here at Easy Crafts for Kids so please try as many as you can and let me know how you get on.
Now onto how to make a pop up Halloween card . You can work through my step by step craft process below.
Say Happy Halloween with this spooky Halloween pop up card featuring haunted house, bats, pumpkins and spider web! Print out the “card pdf” template on thick green craft paper. You can see what it looks like below. Of course you can choose any color of paper but I think the contrast with green is the best in my opinion. Fold the paper in half. Use the template “card 2” to draw the lines on the closed side of the card. Cut along the lines. Fold the flap inwards. You can see what it looks like below Similarly, make the cuts on the sides. And then also fold them inside the card. Your 3D Halloween card should now look like this Cut out the decorations for the card using the “templates”. Glue the pumpkins stem on top of their pumpkins. Open up the card and you will see this Step 10: First, glue the haunted house in the middle. Then, glue the pumpkins on both sides. Glue the bats and the moon in the background. Print out the cover for the card. And then glue it over the green card. Happy Halloween Pop Up Card
