My rocket pop up card for kid tutorial will help children make a paper craft that is out of this world!! Free tutorial, images and printable templates make this an easy craft for all ages.
Space crafts including rockets and aliens are popular with both boys and girls. I know little ones love making my toilet paper roll rocket and pretending to soar it high in the air as if it is going to the moon. My paper plate space craft lets little ones move rockets about in the dark sky!!
You can use this pop up rocket card craft as a Birthday card or even as a Father’s Day card. Just add your own greeting message on the front and/or inside.

How to Make a Rocket Pop Up Card for Kids
Learn how to make a rocket pop up card that is out of this world. Step by step rocket craft process with images.
Materials
- Cardstock paper.
- Craft papers.
- Pencil.
- Ruler.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Marker pens.
Instructions
Step 1:
Use the “pop up Rocket template” to cut out the pieces for the rocket for the pop-up card.
Step 2:
Glue the pieces of the rocket’s window together, then glue the pieces of the flames together.
Step 3:
Glue the rocket’s cone on top of the main body.
Step 4:
Then, glue the fins to the rocket.
Step 5:
Now, glue the window onto the rocket.
Step 6:
Then, glue the flame on the bottom.
Step 7:
Cut out a cardstock paper according to the size of your rocket. And fold it in half.
Step 8:
Draw two vertical lines on the closed end of the card, they need to be an equal distance from the borders. Use the help of “Template 2 Card Template”
Step 9:
Fold the cut-area along the green line on the template.
Step 10:
Fold the part inside the card.
Step 11:
Open the card.
Step 12:
Glue the rocket on the card.
Step 13:
Glue the stars on the background of the card.
Step 14:
Glue the card’s cover, and add some more decorations.
