Frogs are an important learning topic in the early school years. Both my kids have been learning the frog life cycle as well as some frog songs. Schools like using related crafts to support learning. My frog craft with toilet paper roll does just that.

Little children can make him and then use him for story telling or when they are saying one of the common frog rhymes such as ‘Five Little Speckled Frogs’.

My frog craft instructions will help kids turn an old toilet paper roll into a frog. 

How to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Frog

Materials

• Toilet Paper Roll.
• Craft papers.
• Pencil.
• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Glue.
• Marker pens.
• Googly eyes.

Instructions

Step 1:

Cut out the pieces from the PDF template to make the frog. 

Step 2:

Use a marker pen to outline the pieces. 

Step 3:

Glue the mouth onto the frog's face.

Step 4:

Then glue the cheeks, and use a marker pen to draw the freckles and nose.

Step 5:

Glue the googly eyes onto the frog.

Step 6:

Glue the frog's belly onto the rectangular piece.

Step 7:

Then, cut out a half toilet paper roll, wrap and glue the rectangular piece onto it.

Step 8:

Fold the sides of the frog's leg.

Step 9:

Apply glue to the folded part.

Step 10:

Glue the head on top of the paper roll, and then glue the two legs on two sides of the paper roll.
