Minnie Mouse Halloween Craft with Paper Plate

If you love Disney all year long you are sure to love my Minnie Mouse Halloween craft with paper plate! In this craft we transform Minnie Mouse into a witch.

I love all things Disney at anytime of the year!! I know lots of people like to paint pumpkins and transform them into Minnie and Mickey; this is next on my list! 

This year I decided to focus on lots of different witch crafts and I thought Minnie would be the perfect lovable witch for my little girl to craft. We have been doing a Minnie theme of late in the house and it really holds my 6 year olds attention and keeps her away from playing with her tablet!

We already made a Minnie Mouse Planter craft for Summer and it was great. 

Now I need to think how to craft her for Winter, maybe a pop up Christmas card so stay tuned if you are interested in those. 

Watch Minnie the witch flying through the sky on her broomstick (the addition of a popsicle stick means this is a great interactive craft as you can see in the short video below).

Anyhow this is a very simple craft for girls and boys aged 6 years and upwards. All you need is my free Minnie Mouse Halloween craft procedure (found below) and my printable template found at the bottom of the page. 

Before you start you might want to leave a paper plate aside for my rolling eyes witch craft which you can do after this one!

Minnie Mouse Halloween Craft with Paper Plate

Materials

• Cardstock Paper.
• Craft Papers.
• Paper Plate.
• Pencil.
• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Glue.
• Marker Pens.
• Popsicle sticks.

Instructions

Step 1:

Cut out the pieces for the Minnie Mouse using the PDF templates.

Step 2:

Glue the ears to the top of the head.

Join the hands to the sleeves.

And then, glue the shoes to the legs.

Step 3:

Glue the bow to the hat.

Then join the dress and sleeves to the head.

Step 4:

Now, glue the hat to the top of the head and, the legs to the body.

Step 5:

Then, glue the eyes on and draw the face using marker pens.

Step 6:

Cut out the pieces for the broom.

Step 7:

Glue the broom’s brush to the stick. 

Step 8:

Place Minnie on the broom.

Step 9:

Prepare your paper plate by cutting a long slit on the bottom.

Step 10:

Place your background inside the paper plate. You can change the color of your background if you wish.

Step 11:

Decorate the background using the stars and moon.

Step 13:

Then place Minnie Mouse inside the paper plate.

What will this witch name be, or will you simply call her Minnie Witch! Maybe I should run a competition to see who can come up with the best name for a small treat?!
