My cute popsicle stick Santa bookmark craft is loved by children young and old!! It can serve as a bookmark, puppet or simply a plaything!
We have tons of popsicle sticks available in our house and use these for crafting all the time. I am always adding to my long list of fabulous popsicle stick crafts to keep kids and adults busy and entertained.
Naturally I wanted to use my spare popsicle sticks to make a Santa Claus. He makes an awesome bookmark; I actually have a Paper Santa Bookmark craft too if you want to make lots of these!
My easy Christmas craft procedure is below. It only requires a few materials and can be completed in a short period of time. Preschool kids can do this with Mom’s help!
Whenever you complete this you can make lots of my other Santa crafts too.
Learn how to make a Popsicle Stick Santa bookmark craft for kids. Select your popsicle stick. A large popsicle stick would be good for this Popsicle Stick Santa Craft. Use acrylic paint and a paintbrush to colour your popsicle stick with red paint. Cut out a 1-inch strip of peach or cream coloured craft paper and wrap it around the top part of the popsicle stick. Leave 1-1.5 inches gap on top. Glue two googly eyes on the top of the craft paper. Cut out small pieces of cotton and glue them on the popsicle stick as Santa’s beard and moustache. Little kids will love doing this. Cut out a black craft paper strip and glue around the middle part of the popsicle stick. Then glue a square yellow craft paper over the black paper strip. Then wrap a pipe cleaner on top of the popsicle stick. Popsicle Stick Santa Bookmark Craft
