Planter Pot Spiderman Crafts

Gardening crafts for kids are an ideal way to get children to develop their green thumb at any early age whilst learning about the importance of vegetation and how to care for it. 

A great way to get boys interested in growing plants is to give them their very own planter pot, or even better get them to paint theirs! 

Most boys love Superheroes so they will be keen to paint Spiderman onto a plain pot. Obviously this painting craft is for older boys, but younger ones can help Mum or Dad make the planter!

How to Make a Spiderman Plant Pot

Materials

• Clay Pot
• Acrylic paints (or any kind of paint).
• Paintbrushes.
• Pencil.
• Markers.

Instructions

Step 1:

Select a clean clay pot or cement pot.

Step 2:

Use white acrylic paint to paint the whole pot.

Leave the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 3;

Use a pencil to draw spiderman’s eyes on the pot. You can also use the outline from the stencil.

Step 4:

Paint the whole pot using red paint except for the eyes areas.

Allow the paint to dry.

Step 5:

Use black paint or a marker pen to draw outlines on the eyes.

Step 6:

Then use black paint to draw the webs on the planter.
