Making animals including reptiles from toilet paper rolls seems to be my favorite thing recently. My latest creation is this toilet paper roll alligator craft.

Alligators are large reptiles that can be commonly found swimming in lakes and swamps! They not only use their large tails for swimming but also for defending themselves against predators such as bears and eagles which would eat young alligators.

Toilet paper roll crafts are so easy to make using only a few materials, plus you can use these as puppets or pretend play toys afterwards.

My step by step alligator toilet paper roll craft instructions will help you make this in under 10 stages.

Toilet Paper Roll Alligator Craft

This Toilet Paper Roll Alligator Craft includes free step by step instructions and printable template to help kids make him

Materials

Cardstock paper.
Craft papers.
Toilet paper Roll
Pencil.
Ruler.
Scissors.
Glue.
Marker pens.

Instructions

Step 1:

Print out the PDF template and use cardstock paper or craft papers to cut out the pieces for the alligator.

Step 2:

Glue the alligator’s scales on its tail and back of the head.

Step 3:

Then, glue the alligator’s teeth to the mouth.

Step 4:

Glue the alligator’s belly to its body.

Step 5:

Glue two-sided sticky tapes on both ends of the craft paper.

Step 6:

Wrap the rectangular part around a toilet paper roll.

Step 7:

Glue the alligator’s tail on one side of the paper roll.

Step 8:

Glue the alligator’s bottom legs on the bottom part of the paper roll.

Step 9:

Then, glue the forelegs on the top side of the toilet paper roll.

Step 10:

Glue two googly eyes on the alligator’s head to finish this animal toilet paper roll craft.

How cool does Mr Alligator look? He is not one bit scary and certainly does not bite!
