We think of all sorts of creepy creatures during Halloween, so my toilet paper roll bat craft is the perfect activity for kids!
If you live in the countryside or have access to some dark caves you may get the chance to see some real bats flying around or hanging upside down. If not why not try and make some of your own bat crafts
While the thought of real bats flying around may scare some children, the pretend ones we can make are less likely to do so. These are just one of the common Halloween animals you can see, but they are around at anytime of the year!
You can transform a brown toilet paper roll into a black bat very easily! You can use some black colored craft paper or you could even paint the roll. Markers can also be used.
Preschool kids could do this craft along with a little help from Mum! Older kids will love it too!
If you have spare paper rolls you want to recycle right now I have some other Halloween Toilet Paper Roll crafts for kids to do.
This Toilet Paper roll bat craft is the perfect spooky Halloween craft for kids young and old. Step 1 Cut the black paper in half so that it fits perfectly around the paper roll Step 2 Cut the black paper in the shape of wings, you can sketch these and then cut around them. You need two for each bat you want to make. Step 3 Cut the white paper into 2 triangle fangs Step 4 Stick the black craft paper to the toilet paper roll Step 5 Glue the wings to the back of the roll (look at the completed craft to see where is best) Step 6 Stick 2 googly eyes at the front of the roll Step 7 You can make a smile using the black marker Step 8 Finally glue on the white triangle fangs to complete your toilet paper roll batToilet Paper Roll Bat Craft
