Everyone loves a teddy bear on February 14th! This Valentine bear craft is super cute and easy to make if you follow my step by step craft.
Bear crafts for kids are hugely popular as we all know our children love their teddy bears!
The teddy bear has long been associated as being the gift of choice on Valentine’s Day alongside flowers and chocolates.
Instead of gifting the fur variety why not make your own using paper.
This paper craft comes with a template and full instructions for you to recreate your own Valentine bear.
You can admire these little guys on their own or else stick them onto a Valentine’s Day card and let your kids put one in their classmates Valentine Card mailbox at school.
You could also cut them out individually, laminate them and stick then onto the end of a popsicle stick and use them as a bookmark!
A loving Valentine bear craft for kids. Step 1: Select a colored paper for the bear and a different colored paper for the card in the middle. You can decorate the card as you want so select colored craft papers accordingly. I would let my kids pick the colors here to include them in this craft. Trace the bear body and hand patterns on the paper selected for the bear and cut out the patterns using scissors. Trace and cut out the inner ear patterns, the mouth, the nose and Step 2: Attach the inner ear patterns (lighter color card) in the middle of the main ear parts of the bear pattern. Attach the 2 small circular cutouts on both cheeks and the mouth part in the lower middle part of the head. This parts are all labelled on my template so have it to hand while you are following this. Attach the eyes and attach the nose on the top middle part of the mouth pattern. Use a pen to draw the mouth below the nose (kids can do this bit). They can also draw eye brows above the eyes and make them as thick as they like. Step 4: Attach the 2 hands on both sides of the bear as shown on the picture. Step 5: Using scissors trim and align the outer ends of the hand so that they are in line with the body. Step 6: Fold the card template and decorate the card as you want. You could add glitter and sequins! Step 7: Slide the card under the 2 paws/hands of the bear. These Valentine bears are perfect for a Valentine Day card. Valentine Bear Craft for Kids
